The TOSA Chamber of Commerce and TOSA Patch are sponsoring a mayoral candidate forum at 7:00 pm February 13th in Fire Fly Room of City Hall. Here is your chance to hear from the candidates before the election on Feb 21st. Friday, October 28th from 6pm – 8pm drop off your membership forms for 2011-2012 at Lisa’s house – 2119 N 61st St. Everyone is encouraged to sign up at this time and if you are participating in Trick or Treat you can pick up your flashing necklaces!

Any household within the PPNA boarders may hand out treats by placing the pumpkin in the newsletter on their front window and turning on the porch light. Households that have children wanting to participate must sign up as members. Flashing necklaces will be given out to participants at the membership drive or delivered to your home before the event if mailed in or 2-year members.

Please join the Friends of Hart Park Foundation for their Fall 2011 Weed Out and Menomonee River Clean-Up.

The Friends of Hart Park is a non-profit organization whose goal is to promote the preservation of Hart Park. Please visit our website at www.ihartpark.com for further information about The Friends of Hart Park.

The event will take place Saturday, October 29th, 2011 from 9am- noon. We are looking for volunteers to help with pulling weeds and cleaning up along the Menomonee River at Hart Park.

We will be meeting outside the Park Office at Hart Park at 9am.

We will be supplying bags. Please bring gloves, shears and any supplies that you think will be beneficial for the clean-up.

Hope everyone had a great time at the Summer Picnic!

Saturday, August 6th from 4pm – 8pm located at 67th St and Garfield

PPNA is providing brats and hot dogs with all the fixings.

Please bring a dish to pass and your own beverages and seats. Feel free to bring outdoor games (sand bag toss, Frisbees, etc.).

Please R.S.V.P to Lisa Roter (ljroter@tds.net or 414-727-0506) by August 3^rdif you will be attending so we can order enough food.

Monday, July 4th – 2011 One Nation One People

Parade – 9:00 AM – North Avenue
Events at Hart Park – 7300 W. Chestnut Street 12:30 PM – 4:00 PM:
Jo Don Farms: Pony and Camel Rides, petting zoo until 3:00 PM
Music On The Move: Inflatable Rides and Musical Entertainment until 9:00 PM
Milwaukee Public Theatre Performers. Wauwatosa Lion’s Club Beverage Tent
Children bring bikes, buggies, and wagons to decorate and parade
FREE ICE CREAM FOR ALL CHILDREN PARTICIPANTS

12:30 PM – Children’s entertainment including face painting and live entertainment!!!
1:00 PM ~ Parade of decorated doll buggies, tricycles, bicycles, and coaster wagons.
1:30 PM – Poms Performances, Esprit Corps Performances, and Jugglers.
2:30 PM – Games and Races start

9:15 PM – Fireworks Spectacular!

Fireworks will be launched from 70th Street, near the bridge.
Fireworks can be viewed best from the open area between 70th – 72nd Street.
